I was inspired to create this social media infographic after watching Dak Prescott open the 2021 season with a flawless game. Though the Cowboy’s loss the big story in my mind was how Dak had come back from the injury he suffered almost a year before.

Working for the Arizona Republic means that I cover every sports team in the state. This means that I often have to find a balance designing for two rival colleges Arizona State and the University of Arizona. For this design I was able to create a cohesive design style that fans of either teams could enjoy.

When Kobe Bryant retired, it was difficult to believe it was finally happening. This design commemorates his time with the Lakers.

For a story about a golfer who had been winning all over the globe all I could think about while brainstorming was the old Indiana Jones travel montage scenes. This design ran in both Palm Springs and Phoenix which is where Jon Rahm went to college.

Often times visual storytelling involves learning about topics that I previously had little knowledge of. This project about the tennis greats and where Roger Federer falls among them was no exception.

This was a daily sports page preceding the NBA draft in which the Suns had the number one pick.
